Pema Osel Ling means "Lotus Land of Clear Light," and while there are not many lotuses on the grounds, the clear light of California's central coast shines brightly on this beautiful area. Gorgeous views of Monterey Bay and towering redwoods are just a few things that helped us decide on this site. About 30 minutes to Santa Cruz and an hour-and-a-half to San Francisco by car, Pema Osel Ling also represents the stunning beauty of California that we have come to love and call home.
